New Look Roll Out Click and Collect

When New Look decided to embrace Click and Collect they turned to Harris Cox for the manufacture and roll out of the cabinets. To make this work New Look needed to implement the roll out in a very short time period. 601 stores throughout the United Kingdom, Guernsey and the Isle of Man needed to fitted out in a 40 day period. This time included the manufacturing of each unit required. Over a 3 week period Harris Cox manufactured 645 Click and Collect units, 30 of these bespoke ready for the roll out.

Our production team managed the whole process, with an average of 5 two man teams travelling around the locations fitting cabinets in up to 6-8 stores on a daily basis.

As many of the stores were fitted out during ‘open’ hrs all deliveries were carefully planned with advance calculation of driving times, ferry crossings, permits for parking, and accommodation, enabling communication with each store for delivery times and dates.

New Look were kept informed with daily updates and weekly reports highlighting installation progress. Each store was photographed with images being sent through to head office managing the expectations of the New Look design, project management and retail teams.

Harris Cox was selected for their cost effective approach and ability to handle the full roll out with in the restricted time constraints. This enabled New Look the opportunity to adopt this latest technological advance in retail of today.
