As part of the New Look ‘Look and Feel’ project Harris Cox has been busy...

Over a period of 15 weeks we have kitted out over 50 shops with new and replacement fixture. Working closely with the New Look procurement teams Harris Cox have developed, manufactured and installed all cash desks, fixture and soft furnishings to help create a fresh and vibrant new look. This phase marks the latest in a close working partnership between Harris Cox and New Look.

New 250K investment

Recent 250K investment has culminated in the installation of Harris Cox's newest beam saw. The WN 710 Series is the latest Selco beam saw developed using the most advanced and innovative technological solutions available. The installation of this machine provide our clients with a machine that sets the standards for both production efficiency, machine quality and reliability. The WN 710 Series is a high performance single cutting line machine designed to satisfy the most demanding manufacture. The side aligner is integrated with the saw carriage allowing perfect alignment for every day materials including thin or flexible panels. Its integration reduces cycle cutting time.

The pressure beam has a single structure allowing greater controlled pressure on the stack of panels to be cut. This inbuilt system speeds up the relay of sheet material allowing for more to be inserted in advance cutting out stoppage times.

Thanks to two Brushless motors and a ball screw system the automatic blade projection is accurate and fast. With this device, it is possible to quickly execute variable depth grooves.

The incorporated air jet system greatly enhances the handling of delicate materials as well as cleaning the machine table around the blade.

An additional side cutter allows cross cut up to w1200mm.

This machine greatly enhances our current stable of automated equipment adding an enhanced level of commitment to your projects. This makes us quicker, more accurate and better suited to meet your everyday needs

Harris Cox secures additional premises!

Following the success of the 2010 expansion plan, Harris Cox has now secured an additional 48,000sq ft premises to complement the existing 46,000sq ft Head Office.

The new building will be used for manufacturing and distribution of existing clients' orders.

Director's Comment:
Following the successful delivery of our strategic expansion drive in 2010, we decided to take on additional premises to deliver both current client programmes and new client developments. This allows us to double our capacity if required and puts us in a very strong position for the future. In tough times it is pleasing to be able to support the local community with the creation of a significant number of new jobs.
